DMOZ.org is a free, human-edited directory with over 5 million sites in hundreds of thousands of categories. Anyone can suggest a URL, and most are approved, although the process can take up to several months. Most of the major search engines use the DMOZ, so submitting your site is a must. Here's an interesting one--it's a directory of directories. Directory Source provides reviews of other directories. It lists each directory in several categories, including Pagerank, number of links, and price. Dovada added our link to their directory quickly. They require a backlink to their site. Abilogic adds links quickly, and they track each link, providing statics like views, hits, and a star rating for the qualty of the site. They also let you associate keywords with your link.
